"It's All Write!" Short Story Contest
The "It's All Write!" Short Story Contest is an annual event sponsored by the Ann Arbor District Library in conjunction with the Ann Arbor Book Festival that invites short story entries from teenagers. Short stories are judged in three different groups: Middle School Grades 6-8, High School Grades 9 & 10, and High School Grades 11 & 12. Prizes are given to the top three writers in each age group. Now in its 20th year, more submissions are entered into the contest every year with over 200 in the last few years. Over 1500 entries have been received for the contest since its start and they've come from as far away as Pakistan. To learn more and enter the contest, take a look at the 2012 contest rules and guidelines.
