Patron Comment: I’d like to suggest some decoration during the season, especially kid’s area. Including kid’s crafts. The library will be more fun!

AADL Reply: Thank you for your suggestion. We will take this into consideration. Sincerely, Sherlonya Augustine Interim Youth Services Manager

Patron Comment: Vicki the reference librarian was marvelous! She helped me find the sequel to a book, put a hold on it and had it sent to NE. She also did the same for another book that I gave her the wrong title. She went above and beyond!

AADL Reply: Thank you for the compliment. I will be sure to pass your kind words on to Vicki! I'm glad that you had such a positive experience at AADL. Sincerely, Sherlonya Augustine Interim Youth Services Manager

Patron Comment: I’ve always enjoy reading Chinese (traditional) books here at A2 Library. Yet however, have just recently discovered that the most recent books (Chinese characters) are all in “simplified Mainland China version”. I cannot read and have hard time reading them. Please continue to supply “Traditional China” book. Thank you.

Patron Comment: It would be helpful if your computers would use DVD & floppy disk.

Patron Comment: There should be more books which 12 year olds enjoy such as Anthony Horowitz books like Alex Rider and Raven’s gate.

Patron Comment: Due to back problems and general aging, I find it difficult and painful to stand without the “waiting bar”. Please return it. I need it to put my books on and lean on.

Patron Comment: I miss the long counter by the checkout! It was very convenient. Now the librarians have to wait at their computers for me to fish out my library card. Plus, I liked being able to rest my books on it while in line.

AADL Reply: Thanks for contacting the Library. The removal of the long queuing rail and relocation of the inside return cabinet was done to make way for shelving for items on hold. The changes will become more obvious as things progress in the next few weeks. Tim Minick Manager,Facilities

Patron Comment: Since there’s no browsing section (that’s why I checked “complaint”—I really liked that section!), how about putting out a few lists w/titles for people to look at, a jumping off point. I love to read but sometimes gets discouraged going through the stacks. Not just lists of new books or best sellers, but reading lists (by subject, maybe?) of some books you all have really enjoyed.
