ENVISIONED PLAZA: A plaza like this is envisioned for E. Liberty St. This sketch looks east toward the Burton Memorial Tower, at the point where Liberty and S. Fifth Ave. now intersect. An E. Liberty street-wide mall between Main and Division Sts. would lead into the plaza and unidentified special activities facilities. The above sketch is contained in "A Guide to Action-The Ann Arbor Central Area." The photo below is the area as it appears today.

In heart of State St. business district, directly across from city parking structure: 65x132 ft., two-story brick building with full basement. Suitable for remodeling into retail stores, offices or combination. Shortage of business property in this area makes this a highly desirable investment. (advertisement)
