Badge Drop #9: Finally!! A Badge Drop Post with REAL and IMPORTANT CONTENT!

It's crazy to think that this time two months ago, Summer Game was just a twinkle in our eye and now we are ALL THE WAY IN at badge drop NINE!
And we know that by the time badge brop number NINE rolls around, many of you have run out of energy to read these EXCESSIVELY ENTHUSIASTIC posts! We're GRATEFUL for this, because we have almost run out of energy to WRITE these posts! We tapped our reserves of BEAR and TREE and WOOD JOKES weeks ago, but THAT'S OKAY because we know that it's incredibly unlikely that you'll even bother to glance at this OBNOXIOUSLY DENSE paragraph before you commence CLICKING FRANTICALLY through the catalog in search of CODES! We're pretty sure that by AUGUST no one will BOTHER TO CHECK whether we write real words or, for example, just a series of nonsense phrases, like LOG your UNDERWEAR! REVIEWS are WALLABIES! PANTS for CANADA!!! As long as we display the RIGHT amount of UPPER CASE ENTHUSIASM, we are ALMOST POSITIVE that no one will even NOTICE that we have said NEXT TO NOTHING in this ENTIRE POST! In fact, we hope if we keep BOMBARDING YOU with EXCLAMATION POINTS that you will simply GIVE UP on finishing this LONG-WINDED NOVELLA and HAPPILY SETTLE for a THINLY-VEILED DISTRACTION!!

That's IT! I mean, we would be HAPPY to write more nonsense things for you--like, RATE your DALAI LAMA! CODES are MAYONNAISE! What's in this week's CLASSIC SHOP DROP?

Things might be sleepy in College towns in August, but the Summer Game Shop DON'T STOP! This Friday at 7 PM, we've got 4 more items for your weekly CLASSIC SHOP DROP, and they're all things for, uh, well, it's a bit of a reach, so let's say FOR THE HOME. Yes. Because these are all things that you will probably keep. In your home. Where you live. Yes. BUT WHAT THINGS? Well, we've got our final stock of the classic 2011 White Water Bottle, plus a generous quantity of the infamous purple bucket with frisbee lid! You know, just like you'd find at a home... goods... store... place... experience? Ah well. It looked so good on paper. We'll also have one of our very favorite library items, the LIBRARY PENNANT! And rounding things out, if you like cut not just the cheese, but the WHOLE PIZZA, the AADL pizza wheel will find a place in your drawer where you keep such things!

What's in this Friday's CLASSIC SHOP DROP?

The Classic Shop is off to a ROLLICKING start, with BAGS GALORE, and WAIT THERE'S MORE! That's right, we've got CLASSIC SHOP DROP #2 lined up for you this Friday at 7 PM, and this week is all about TOYS. We've got fidget spinners, puzzles, mazes, slinkys, even the long lost PUTTY EGG and more coming your way in limited quantities, at prices ranging from 5,000 - 40,000 points!
Also, each week, Classic Shop Items that are STILL AVAILABLE will see their prices drop a bit! So you're always welcome to hold out for a better price as Summer drags on, but remember, almost everything in the Classic Shop is our final stock of those items, so once they're gone, they're gone!
Classic Shop Drops will continue each Friday through the last day of the Game on August 31st! So stay tuned, and THANKS FOR PLAYING!

Classic Shop Drop #1: BAGWARE!

ATTENTION SUMMER GAME SHOPPERS! You've all sampled the delights of the 2018 Summer Game Shop, and you're obviously HUNGRY FOR MORE! Well, bad news, because none of the items in tonight's CLASSIC SHOP DROP are actually edible! At least, we don't recommend it. In fact, none of the items in any of the upcoming Classic Shop Drops are edible. BUT YOU'D HARDLY KNOW IT to look at these DELICIOUS CLASSIC BAGS:
And starting RIGHT NOW you can buy them in the Classic Items Section of the Summer Game Shop, while supplies last! These are our final stock of these items, so there's not a lot of SUPPLY but plenty of DEMAND and you know what that means! But with all your CLASSIC POINTS from years gone by, you're in a good position to PICK A BAG and GET ON WITH YOUR LIFE!

Badge Drop #7: Downtown

When you need points and summertime seems so pointless you can always go DOWNTOWN! When you need points, all the codes in the joints seem to help, I know. DOWNTOWN.
Just look for a new badge from Vault of Midnight in the city! Linger at the UMMA where artwork is so pretty. HOW CAN YOU LOSE? The points are so shiny there; you can forget all your troubles, forget all your cares and go:
DOWNTOWN! Things will be GREAT when you're DOWNTOWN! No finer place for sure: DOWNTOWN! EVERYTHING'S WAITING FOR YOU!
Don't hang around and let your problems surround you, there's Stamps Gallery DOWNTOWN! Maybe you know some little places to go to like the Art Center DOWNTOWN!

All About the first CLASSIC SHOP DROP!

Ok, so by now everybody is surely fully aware of all the changes to the way the shop works, and is delighted by the freedom and lack of anxiety therein! RIGHT? So, with the 2018 items in the shop and guaranteed in stock all summer, time to put a little shop stress back in your lives! Because it wouldn't be Summer Game without having to cancel all your Friday Night plans in August, right? RIGHT? Sorta.
So, each Friday Night, up to and including the Game Over Gala on 8/31, we will release some Classic Items you can buy with your classic points. To minimize your frettosity, each Monday we will tell you what's coming in that Friday's Classic Shop Drop.
Now, while there are no limits on Classic Shop Orders, we still ask that you SHARE NICELY with other players as extreme orders may be edited! And some of these items are SUPER RARE, and we'll be posting our final stock, so for most of these items, when they're gone, they're gone! Read on for FULL DETAILS!

The Summer Game Shop is NOW OPEN!

IT'S FINALLY HERE! The all-new 2018 SUMMER GAME SHOP! We've got 18 items for you this summer, and some big changes to how you spend your points!
1. You need SG2018 points to order the SG2018 items.
2. Each player can order up to 4 2018 items.
3. 2018 items will always be in stock during SG2018.
4. Classic points can be used to order Classic Items, mostly without limits.
If you were hoping for more than 4 items, there will be extras of the 2018 items in the 2019 Classic Shop! And very soon we'll be introducing the REAL MONEY Shop, where you can buy SG Items as gifts (or to keep) with the proceeds going right back into supporting the Summer Game Shop!
Each Monday, right here, we'll announce the following Friday's Classic Shop Drop, which will happen at 7 PM SHARP each Friday through the end of the game!
