Badge Drop #8: Better Eight Than Never!

Waiting is the WORST.
That long and booooring space between LAST Friday and THIS Friday always seems so HUGE. Seven days of ANTICIPATION. 168 hours of NAIL-BITING. 10,080 minutes of EAGER EXPECTATION! It's a long wait for you....but just THINK about all those patient BADGES that have been waiting for WEEKS!
They've been patient (like a Summer Game Player at 11:59am) but now these badges are ready to be RELEASED. Some of them have been patiently waiting all summer long. Champing at the bit. Revving their engines. READY TO SHINE!

Badge Drop #7: Badge Buffet

It's been a wild ride out there since our last badge drop. We had our FAIR SHARE of Art Fair, a HEALTHY HELPING of 100 degree heat, and a slice of humidity pie that was basically the WHOLE PIE. All of it served up with a sizable dollop of severe thunderstorms and power outages long enough to rot all the food in our fridges. Oh and a downtown car fire for dessert.
That's it, SUMMER. We're THROUGH. We're THROWING IN THE TOWEL (after we wring all our sweat and tears out of it). You can take your rainbows and your unicorns and...
OMG WAIT. The POWER is BACK ON. And so is the GAME! And we're starving from lack of well-stocked refrigerators! And speaking of fire, we've lit this whole thing on fire with a SMORGASBORD of EDIBLE BADGES to feed your Summer Game soul!

SHOP NEWS: All About Classic Shop Drops... and AUCTIONS??!?

GOOD EVENING SUMMER GAME FAITHFUL! We have some good news, and some bad news, and some just news. GOOD NEWS FIRST! Out of nowhere, a new CLASSIC SHOP ITEM has appeared! It is not super-exciting but it is TOTALLY NEW to the Summer Game Shop! If you're a Skatepark Fan, or perhaps became one last weekend at the Summer Game Spectacular, you can EMBLAZON SOMETHING with a Skatepark Sticker or Three! Only a limited quantity is available, but take a look in the Classic Shop for the Skatepark Sticker Set!
Now the bad news; we're not ready to accept Coffee orders yet. Don't blame our pals at Roos Roast, this one's on us. The bags for the coffee have not yet arrived and we don't think we'll be ready to ship Coffee next packing day, so we're delaying the opening of Coffee orders a few more days so that orders don't get mixed up. We won't make you wait until next Friday, so if you're desperate for Coffee, keep your eyes on the shop Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. It's all about the FRESHEST coffee and the LEAST LOGISTICAL COMPLEXITY in that order, so stay tuned, and thanks for your patience! We're so sorry for the delay!
So, here, for your ANTICIPATORY PLEASURE, is (most of) the Classic Shop Drop schedule for the rest of Summer Game 2019. We're focused on keeping the number of items in the shop at once down, as that leads to ERRORS and UNCERTAINTY, but we want you to have a crack at a lot of great stuff from years past. We also have some of our RARE and HIGHLY DESIRABLE Vintage Buttons from the ancient history of AADL; these will appear in the shop on Fridays when there isn't another Classic Shop Drop, starting next week. These are very limited quantity and are priced for the HIGH ROLLERS among you who treasure PRICELESS and BIZARRE AADL Memorabilia!
BUT THAT'S NOT ALL! We're experimenting with some Silent Auctions of Artwork for points at our SUMMER GAME MIXERS as the Summer goes on, leading up to something VERY SPECIAL and UNIQUE at the Game Over Gala on August 31st! If you're able to attend that event, you may be able to BID WITH YOUR POINTS on both treasures from the Summer Game Shop, and works of Art that have previously been part of AADL Exhibits! We're hoping to have both silent and live points auctions at that event, so CLEAR YOUR CALENDARS, players!

The 2019 Summer Game Shop is NOW OPEN!

OH MY WOW! The Summer Game Shop is back and just LOADED with AMAZING new items! Just get a load of some of these things!
A few things to know about the Summer Game Shop!
- You need 2019 Points to buy 2019 Items! You can spend any points on Classic Items.
- You can only buy 4 2019 items per player during Summer Game 2019!
- The Coffee and Fish Pin Set are not yet available; sorry for the delay!
- Shirts take 4-6 weeks to arrive! If you order a shirt, it's recommended to order it separately.
- All Summer Game Shop Orders are Final! Sorry, no returns except for defective items.
Once you place your order, you'll get a notification when your order is ready for pickup! Don't come looking for it before then, for only DISAPPOINTMENT awaits!

It's Friday! Again! Time for another Summer Game Badge Drop!
And we've really got the perfect weather for it. Just look out the window at that weather! Isn't it something?! It must be something! Surely some kind of weather is happening out there!
We're no meteorologists, but we've been looking at our weather maps and radar and funny giant balloons and right now we've got some PRECIPITOUS predictions. This week, players, the forecast calls for a DOWNPOUR of puppets, a WINDSTORM of wild scams--and based on our debatable weathering skills--probably a SANDWICH TORNADO!! Delicious!

Ah.
