EMU Pitchers in Major League Baseball

Right-hander Bob Welch (L), a former Cy Young award winner and Bob Owchinko, a left-hander with a lightening move to first base, are testimony to the excellence of Eastern Michigan University's baseball program under Ron Oestrike. Both players were members of the 1976 EMU team that placed second at the NCAA College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.
