Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor Tree Plantings Recognized, 2006

The flowering crab apple trees that welcome visitors to Ann Arbor along Jackson Avenue were planted by members of the Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor. A generation or two later, a sign has now been erected commemorating the club's action. Planting the sign are (left to right) - Kiwanian Judge S.J. Elden, 2006-2007 Kiwanis Club President Tom Lovell, Ann Arbor Mayor John Hieftje, Kiwanis Club past president and Hall of Honor member Sheridan Springer and Kiwanian Steve Pezda.
