Description

Note: In 1942 "US-12" meant the east-west road from Jackson to Ann Arbor (or vice-versa). After that route was replaced by the east-west I-94 freeway, the US-12 designation was given to the Michigan Avenue route through southern Michigan, from Detroit to Chicago. (This formerly had been US-112.)
