Civic Theater Play Opens Tonight - Ann Arbor Civic Theater members will poke fun at themselves when they present "The Torch Bearers," a satirical comedy take-off on civic theater groups, at 8 o'clock tonight and Wednesday night in Lydia Mendelssohn Theater. One of the scenes is being enacted in the above picture. Marjorie Stewart, who portrays Mrs. Pampennelli, a civic theater play director, gives instructions to Nancy McGee, playing the role of Paula Ritter, on her acting in the "play within a play." Howard Fieldsteel, as Fred Ritter, looks on.
