Description
We're taking a break from our regularly scheduled knitting lab to celebrate Japan Week!
This week we'll be showing you the basics of sashiko stitching, a traditional embroidery style from Japan. We will provide everything you need to get started.
Stop in and learn the basics. Or, feel free to bring along another project you've been working on (knitting, crochet, or embroidery) and hang out with us while enjoying the company of other crafters.
We welcome all skill levels, no prior knowledge is necessary.
This event is part of Japan Week in partnership with the University of Michigan Center for Japanese Studies.
