Description

What is the one animal that everyone wants to learn how to draw? A horse, of course. One of the most beautiful animals and such an interestingly composed head. We will learn that it is not as hard as you thought to draw a horse realistically and you will be proud of what you can accomplish once you learn how to break down a complex organic shape into components and reconstruct them back again to create – a horse’s head. We will learn about shading to get the three dimensional form of this interesting animal…..everyone’s favorite!

True creativity comes from the mastery of core skills combined with original thought! Join Young Rembrandts teachers on Saturdays in September and October for directed drawing that gives young students instruction on how to break down complex images into simple ones. Students will explore many different techniques and art tools (colored pencil, pastel, and marker) while learning the drawing skills that lay the foundation for all visual arts. Illustration, design, fine art composition, and cartooning will be covered.
