Recipient of the 2012 Kennedy Center Honors, countless Grammy awards and induction into every relevant music and blues-related Hall of Fame, Buddy Guy has been called "the Greatest Living Electric Blues Guitarist." Using vintage photos, video clips, and recordings, Dr. Bruce Conforth, UM Professor of American Culture and founding curator of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, will trace the long and storied career of blues legend Buddy Guy.

This event is cosponsored by AADL and the Michigan Theater and is held in conjunction with the upcoming March 18 Buddy Guy Concert at the Michigan Theater. Information and tickets for the Michigan Theater Concert may be found on the Theater’s website at michtheater.org.
