Starship Battle League: Demo Day

Saturday December 21, 2013: 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm -- Downtown Library: aadlfreespace

This event is intended for adults and teens (grade 9 and up).

RED ALERT! Do you and your pals have what it take to COMMAND A STARSHIP? Find out at AADL's all-new event series STARSHIP BATTLE LEAGUE!

It's not quite a holodeck simulation, but it's as close as you're going to get to crewing a starship with up to five other players, each with their own console, view and responsibilities.

Join us for this informational meeting and Spaceship Bridge Simulator Demo. We'll be splitting up into six-person demo teams, testing out the Simulator, and discussing the AADL's 2014 Starship Battle League. Don't miss it!

Question

Is this real rocket science or just some cool version of sic-fi rockets that are actually fun?

Real Rockets vs. Sci-fi Fun

hope see you there,

Thanks

I plan to attend either way. I happen to already play on a rocket science simulator (KSP) and actually admire both the rocket science part and the messing around part. Anyway, I just wanted to have an idea what's happening.

I wonder if this is the

I wonder if this is the command crew simulator I saw at Origins?

Fantastic Game

My friends and I have played this at home a few times, and I love it. The hardest part is getting everyone organized to play. I wish I could attend.
