Description

Learn how to build applications using Google App Engine.

In this class, we will discuss the basics of websites, web servers, and modern web applications. Following this discussion, we will learn how to build applications in Python using Google App Engine. By the end of the class, students will have built their first web application, and deployed it to Google's servers.

This class builds on the Building Web Applications with Python I class (offered on Monday, July 29), but it is not a strict prerequisite. Basic computer and mouse experience is required.

All classes will offer a Skype simulcast in an overflow space for laptop users and observers. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Classrooms will open 15 minutes before the class start times.
