Simply put Medicare represents the intersection of health and financial well-being for an aging adult.
Please bring a friend or someone you know. This topic affects more people than we acknowledge. Sometimes, friends don't want to air their private concerns or information even amongst themselves. This session is meant to eliminate this barrier. In addition to seniors, adult-age children (like me) have senior parents, and frequently get involved, sometimes under duress. The inches of mail received by seniors cannot (by law) "align" the options that exist in the marketplace. Consumers are fatigued due to the amount of advertisements and politicking around Medicare. Unfortunately, "tuning out" isn't the answer because the ones that suffer the consequences of incomplete knowledge: the beneficiary. I could pontificate further about the societal effect that the lack of accurate knowledge regarding Medicare has on us all (insert neighborhood foreclosure analogy).
