Humanitarian and adventurer Greg Mortenson made a special appearance at Huron High School Auditorium as part of the nation-wide tour for the new Youth and Teen versions of his bestselling book, "Three Cups Of Tea: One Man’s Mission To Promote Peace... One School At A Time." Greg is the co-founder of the nonprofit organizations Central Asia Institute and Pennies for Peace.

I was so grateful to be able to view this presentation online because I was out of town when Mr. Mortenson gave his talk. I have read his book and it has opened my eyes so dramatically. The Obama administration needs to include Greg in their decision-making and planning process in this area. I nominate Greg for the Nobel Peace Prize. Bumper sticker idea : "Pennies for Peace - Billions for Bombs". Peace is the cheaper, braver option.
