Two Different Styles Smushed Together submitted by Meginator on August 21, 2021, 11:31am This album of instrumentals is an interesting mix of vibrant compositions and tracks most charitably described as elevator music. The latter are a bit limp, which is incredibly surprising given the vivacity of the first track (and others), which uses intricate acoustic guitar to excellent effect. Most of the songs focus on the acoustic guitar, with violin and other accompaniments, but the impact is strangely uneven from track to track. I wish they would have chosen one style (the first) and stuck with it, but here we are.
