Since forming in 1995, the imposing-looking foursome System of a Down have built a massive following for themselves. An Armenian-American rock band from Los Angeles, California, members Daron Malakian, Serj Tankian, Shavo Odadjian, and John Dolmayan combine the sonic impact of heavy metal with the angular structures of alternative rock and the dark textures of goth. These Grammy-award winning hard rockers developed a massive fanbase after opening for the likes of Slayer and Korn, before breaking through to multi-platinum success with their album Toxicity. System of a Down: Psycho Messiahs Unauthorized is a documentary which looks at the inspirations behind the group's sound, and their long, hard climb to the top. This hour long tracks the band's origins, backgrounds, and rise to the top of the Billboard charts. For new fans and old, this video is not to be missed!
