Excluded follows the children that nobody wants in their classrooms: six unruly boys on the verge of being expelled from their East London schools. Ending up in the council's sin bin - a unit for children who have been removed from mainstream education - they are placed under the watchful eye of a group of specialist teachers, given ten weeks to turn around the boys' unacceptable behaviour. The youths - with problems ranging from violence to virtual illiteracy - are filmed both in the educational unit and at home. Will this final attempt work and see the boys re-introduced to mainstream schooling?
