Heartfelt Folksy Vibes submitted by Meginator on August 1, 2022, 3:55pm This is a fantastic, folksy singer-songwriter album with a very relaxed, natural feel to the songs. The instrumentation is fairly straightforward, with the acoustic guitar and vocals carrying the music along with some accents from the bass and the drum and with the vocals having a gruff tone that lends the lyrics a sense of honesty. Thematically, the songs use the natural world to reflect on human relationships and emotions, with a particular emphasis on nostalgia and memory. My only complaint is that the album includes such a small number of songs; I’d be eager to hear more from this group.
