Bluesy Smooth Jazz submitted by Meginator on July 10, 2020, 4:52pm These smooth jazz tracks have a lot of life to them, borrowing elements from traditional jazz forms and reworking them into fast-paced backgrounds featuring electronic instrumentation. The guitar takes the lead on most tracks, with occasional assistance from a saxophone, and incorporates bluesy melodic lines on several songs to create a hybrid style that is upbeat but not without emotion. It’s still smooth jazz (if you know the genre, you’ll probably have an opinion on this before listening to it), but it has a good sense of energy and improvisation to it.
