The Ann Arbor Adventures is a picture book series that captures the magic of the city of Ann Arbor. Ann Arbor has many places that cater to kids’ minds, creativity, abilities, and growth. There are numerous things to do in this wonderful city that will create lasting memories for children. These places deserve to be celebrated.

The U-M Museum of Natural History opened its spectacular new facility in the Biological Sciences Building on April 14, 2019. The building design blurs the boundaries between public and research areas, putting science on display. All-new exhibits and educational programs feature LSA’s world-class natural science collections, cutting-edge research by U-M faculty, and interdisciplinary topics of global and local concern.

Good book to read before/after trip to the museum submitted by choichr on June 24, 2022, 9:59am This is a great book to read before going to the museum because it gives kids a preview of things that they will see. It can hype them up for the trip. It's also a great book to read after the trip because they can use the book to make connections. The text is easy to read (larger size, high contrast, clean font) but contains some big "science words" so some adult help might be needed to read the book. The illustrations are very cute and I particularly enjoyed how the characters are animals instead of people.
