Awesome Blend of Genres submitted by Meginator on July 3, 2020, 2:08pm As the title suggests, this album has a lot going on, pulling from several different pop and rock genres for a track list full of surprises. Cosmo’s gruff vocal style lends itself well to the tracks that employ an alt-rock edge (though even these songs sit firmly in the pop milieu), but it’s also surprisingly effective on more laid-back tracks as well. These songs alternately reminded me of artists as varied as Edwin McCain, Linkin Park, and U2, but the album still somehow avoids becoming too chaotic, shifting naturally and easily between its many moods. I recommend this album for pop-rock fans who enjoy a range of bands and styles; the musical influences all come together for a satisfying experience.
