Screen print on paper. Joshua Budich is a DC based illustrator. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Imaging & Digital Arts), University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). He incorporates imagery from pop culture, movies, and music into his work. Rise to Meet Fate is inspired by the art of Eyvind Earle and Hayao Miyazaki. Budich often watches animated films with his children and for this illustration combined the styles of Earle (Sleeping Beauty) and Miyazaki (Spirited Away).
