Carlito's Way submitted by Varshini on June 18, 2019, 10:33pm This red is too bright for my liking. Also, this picture is really creepy. The guy on the top of the steps looks like he's about to murder someone.

Carlito's Way submitted by c_zhang on June 18, 2019, 11:51pm I kinda like the style of this. The red and the black, coupled with the strange man on the top of the stairs creates a sinister mood in this print.

Carlito's Way submitted by i'm a blobfish on June 25, 2019, 3:44pm Kind of creepy the way that the piece is not upright. The contrast between the red and black makes it seem like somethings going to happen. I like how the path up to where the man is standing is pure solid red, not grainy with black or anything.

Carlito's Way submitted by JY 2005 on June 25, 2019, 9:06pm This looks like a very creepy print. The color makes if feel dark, and the contrast with the red and black create an interesting feeling.

Carlito's Way submitted by SBNB on July 3, 2019, 5:53pm Interesting. I think I like it, but I wonder what the artist is trying to convey.

Carlito's Way submitted by lstorc on July 29, 2019, 12:16am Carlito's Way is creepy. I would not want to go whatever way he is going!

eh submitted by .-.-.-. on August 10, 2019, 9:05am I wish I knew what this was.. it's interesting, but a bit too much red. I like the creativity. 3/5 satrs.

Movie-inspired submitted by britain on July 5, 2021, 10:57pm I'm going to request this after I return one of Wheeler's other prints I have checked out right now.

The movie that inspired it (https://aadl.org/catalog/record/10338252) is a period-piece crime epic from the director and actor of "Scarface" and this print captures the vibe well.
