what are the odds of getting even? submitted by camelsamba on August 31, 2017, 8:59pm Another enjoyable story about the Desperado Detectives (Mo and Dale and new recruit Harm Crenshaw). The story picks up some plot elements from Three Times Lucky - in particular, Dale's father (Macon) is facing trial and Dale is dealing with the associated heartbreak and feelings of abandonment. He does end up taking the lead on their case for awhile, growing in confidence and causing Mo to grow in graciousness. I had my suspicions about the culprit before the reveal, but was unable to pull it all together - just the kind of mystery I enjoy.
