Perky Pop Country submitted by Meginator on August 23, 2020, 6:59pm This is a delightful pop-country album with tongue firmly planted in cheek as Maddie & Tae deconstruct some of country music’s favorite stereotypes while singing about some of those same subjects in refreshing new ways. The music is catchy, the harmonies are good, and the lyrics are at once effective and laugh-out-loud funny; this album has it all.
