Obscure History submitted by Meginator on June 17, 2017, 11:23pm I had never heard of this basketball game, an interracial match played in North Carolina in 1944, and I think this book does a good job of recounting this bit of history in a kid-friendly way. The illustrator's use of color is interesting, as is the use of techniques to make some of the illustrations seem like old photograps. An excellent book.
