weird adventure submitted by arr on July 31, 2015, 3:02pm I found it a little hard to enjoy. Coarse language and serious topics that try to be fun. I just couldn't get into it.

Different submitted by DL on June 22, 2016, 6:54pm Found myself trying to figure out the clues with the characters.

OK submitted by manz on August 20, 2016, 3:44pm The book was better.

Not great submitted by ferielp on June 23, 2017, 12:17pm Yet another Manic Pixie Dreamgirl story from the POV of a boy in love with the girl next door, who he barely even knows. The dynamics between supporting cast were the best parts of the movie.

strange adventure submitted by rjsjwilliams on July 2, 2017, 11:20am yes, the book was better indeed.

odd story submitted by KOH on August 27, 2017, 10:57pm Good book, okay movie.

Paper Towns submitted by jhaberich on July 29, 2023, 2:21pm There were some parts of this book that were great, but other parts were decent at best. I loved the road trip and just couldn't put the book down. I just love reading about people on road trips for some reason. I think the main character was way too fixated on getting the girl, just living his life would've been better. However, it is a sort-of mystery and I like John Green's other books, so I would say worth reading but with not-so-high expectations.
