A Great Remake submitted by ksullivan on August 17, 2023, 9:59am A great graphic novel interpretation of the original "Kristy's Big Day." I appreciate all the hard work of Ann M. Martin, as well as illustrators and adaptors Raina Telgemeier, Gale Gilligan, Gabriela Epstein, Chan Chau, and Cynthia Yuan Cheng, who have all made the Baby-Sitters Club come to life through these graphic novels. They have really helped my daughter come to love a series that I fiercely enjoyed as a kid as well. Kristy, Mary Anne, Stacey, Claudia, Dawn, Mallory, Jessi, Shannon, and Logan are all interesting and well-rounded characters with their own interests, problems, and personalities, and in the graphic novels, they come to life with pops of color and personality that make every chapter an adventure. We love this series!
