COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Brilliant Guitarist submitted by KidBlue on August 8, 2020, 7:14am Michael Bloomfield was a brilliant blues guitarist. Most of his work was in bands or for artists not bearing his name. The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, the first Electric Flag album, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, and the Super Session and Live Adventures albums with Al Kooper. His versatility in and mastery of nearly all styles of blues guitar playing was influential remains relevant today.
This collection gives a terrific overview of his music, including that for other artists. There is also a DVD biography film included.
