LOVE the sequel submitted by missmeganh on July 27, 2016, 3:19pm I was so excited to find out that Crazy Rich Asians has a sequel! What surprised me even more was that I was able to keep the cast of characters straight without the handy dandy family chart in the first book :) I loved the continuation of the story for Rachel, Nick & Astrid....and Kitty Pong's transformation! A fun read and I'm REALLY looking forward to the third book due in Spring 2017.

Kwan's writing really tightened up, the characters became more interesting, the little details of his delightful satire even sharper. I wasn't expecting some of the character arcs - it was fresh and fun and wonderful!

Fun sequel submitted by Susan4Pax -prev. sueij- on June 21, 2023, 8:50pm The sequel to _Crazy Rich Asians_, this was another really good read. Kwan is good at characters, story, conflict, and energy. It also reminds me that I genuinely could care less about the lives of the insanely rich, and that no one “deserves” that kind of money or life. Fun story, though.
