Fantastic!! submitted by Whoman on August 3, 2019, 9:42am Get your leather jackets and Sonic screwdrivers! The Doctor is in! This first (or twenty-seventh, from a certain point of view) season of Doctor Who is absolutely fantastic. And so was Eccleston. He was an amazing Doctor, and he made me fall in love with this show. It's a thirteen episode rollercoaster ride through time and we'll, Earth. If there's one thing that annoys me about this season, it's that it's all set on our own blue and green marble. I mean seriously, Pertwee's Doctor spent more time on other planets during his exile to Earth! Billie Piper does an amazing job as companion Rose Tyler, and well, what can I say about John Barrowman as Captain Jack Harness? Brilliant! Well written. Not a single bad episode. An absolutely fantastic season.

Classic New Who, Iconic AF submitted by PeachLily on August 10, 2022, 1:21pm This season is incredible and paved the way for the reboot of who we've enjoyed since. Everything holds up and the writing and sense of adventure is so so good. Eccleston is an underrated doctor, truly fantastic : )

Christopher Eccelston as The Doctor submitted by LuckyDucky10 on July 9, 2023, 8:01pm Very underrated doctor and the only misfortune is that we only got to see him for one season. If you like Classic Dr. Who, he kind of reminds me of the Third Doctor. Highly recommend!
