COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Battle of the Five Armies submitted by SBNB on June 19, 2015, 7:56pm I wasn’t very impressed. It was mostly a battle, and that wasn’t very interesting.

yes submitted by manz on June 20, 2015, 2:10pm I enjoyed this. While the LOTR trilogy is way better than this Hobbit trilogy, it's still enjoyable. Just too stretched out.

UGH submitted by rcdubord on June 30, 2015, 2:45pm I hated this movie. What a disgrace to the beautiful novels that Tolkien wrote and a shame that the greatness of the LOTR movie trilogy was not continued on with these piles of garbage

Wow submitted by Kaebib on July 27, 2015, 3:33pm better ending than I thought

Adventure submitted by avrogers1 on June 20, 2017, 12:25pm This is movie in the Hobbit Series

loved it submitted by hollieesper121573 on August 10, 2017, 8:26pm the action is the best part of movies loved most of the movie was action

Good submitted by anacoluthon on August 21, 2018, 8:25pm Three movies was asking a lot of a short book like The Hobbit... but with a great cast and a score by the incredible Howard Shore were enough to win me over!

:( submitted by elizabeth mayhew on August 23, 2018, 12:25am 144 minutes to go over one battle on one day. I've never been so tired during a fight scene before.

non-stop fun submitted by yufamily on August 18, 2019, 4:04pm Loved it!

Don't watch it submitted by eilusk on July 24, 2022, 3:57pm I really hated this one. Bloated runtime full of ludicrous stunts and a parade of different creatures and factions, most of which we are given little or no reason to care about. At one point, Thorin's inner conflict is portrayed through a hallucination sequence of different voice clips playing and yet more CGI. I wanted to scream JUST LET RICHARD ARMITAGE ACT. This is certainly a matter of taste, but I just couldn't find much to like about this movie.
