COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Somewhat violent submitted by dandoro on July 27, 2018, 1:41pm I know most people loved this, and it was very well done, but the violence was too graphic for me. Well acted, cool costumes and great story otherwise.

Never See the likes Again submitted by caburr47 on July 28, 2019, 5:12pm This was one of the smartest shows on television. Ian McShane and the rest of the cast were pitch perfect. David Milch is in his own stratosphere of literary construction. Get past the swearing as there is always intent with every word.

Tried it out submitted by ccrose on August 18, 2019, 9:40pm I don’t watch tv so only if some friend says ‘This is so good...You’ve got to try it.”.
I didn’t stay engaged for a couple of reasons:
Because of Ameruca’s love of cowboy and Indians movies and TV shows that have very limited plot lines, good guy/bad guy.
I saw remrnents of classic old westerns (the beaten prostitute, from Unforgiven, The search for a surviving child kidnapped by Indians ((The Searchers)..
I got bored before the first disc was finished. It’s so hard to devise away from stereotypes especially the constant theme of “eye for eye” dominance, and problem solving just doesn’t have a place.
Not for children. A realistic looking corpse, lots of flare ups of gunplay. For me, it was like watching a hamster in a wheel.
