Learn about dragons, acromantulas, hippogriffs, house elves and more with detailed profiles of each creature, including which books and movies each creature appears in. This stunning book delves into the process each creature took from page to screen, and details each stage of development. Also included are interesting filmmaking secrets from the set (did you know that Hedwig was played by at least 7 different snowy owls?). This mesmerizing collection is a must read for any Harry Potter fan. A word of warning: some of the early development pictures can get pretty creepy!

Creature Vault submitted by clmcdl on July 8, 2015, 11:39pm I didn't take the time to read much of the text (I'm a big Harry Potter fan, but not that hard core). Just spent an hour or so perusing the photos and illustrations- very enjoyably. The book brought back pleasant memories of fun moments in the books and movies, as well as greater insight into some of the more obscure creatures. Recommended.
