A beautiful, pure-hearted young woman, Maleficent has an idyllic life growing up in a peaceable forest kingdom, until one day when an invading army threatens the harmony of the land. I wasn’t sure I’d like it, but the movie is very well done and gives a really good point of view from Maleficent on the Sleeping Beauty story. I did watch it with my 3 year old son, not sure if it would be appropriate for him or not, however he seemed to really like it and only found the minimal fighting scene and dragon “scary”. He hid from the dragon, but when I told him the dragon was gone, came right out and continued watching the movie.

Loved it! submitted by Xris on June 26, 2018, 12:18am The make-up etc. on Angelina was so good! Interesting that they had to have her daughter play the young girl part, because she was the only one who wouldn't get freaked by all the make-up!

Better then I thought it'd be submitted by Zekicmom on August 11, 2019, 7:23pm I only watched the movie because my daughter wanted to see it, and I was pleasantly surprised. As the voice over at the begining predicted, it was a different version of the sleeping beauty story then any I'd ever heard before.
