COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Fairly True to the Book submitted by elkwiatkowski on July 10, 2020, 7:19pm It's hard to stray too far from the book when it is an autobiography, but Spike Lee did a wonderful job with this film.

3.5 hours of a comprehensive look at Malcolm X's life. submitted by brooksza on August 4, 2023, 9:36am Despite the length it never felt long or overstuffed. think this is one of Denzel's best performances as well. I'd be curious to find out more about the significance of the color/nickname Red and continue thinking about the themes and styles of this movie. Like a few of Spike's movies, this one could have been made today.
