COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Boring submitted by Beth Manuel on June 13, 2014, 12:51pm I was not impressed by this slow moving film. Kate Winslet's character was vapid. Josh Brolin, while handsome to look at, was impossibly perfect (except for his seedy secret, of course). He had the ability to not only hold this mom & her son hostage but was able to clean the gutters, fix the broken floorboards AND bake a cherry pie. The best part of this film was saving the review to earn SRG points. Otherwise, it's a snoozefest.

Labor Day submitted by hcf on August 27, 2014, 9:22pm Pretty lame. Read the book instead.

I liked it submitted by bookher on July 13, 2016, 1:39pm I didn't the read the book but I liked this movie more than I expected to even though the ending is quite predictable.
