Terrific! submitted by mowjac on July 13, 2014, 10:10pm An excellent tense mystery that is as much a story about the inhabitants of this small resort town and their reaction to a local murder as it is about catching said murderer. The acting is uniformly good; the story enthralling and compelling. Entertaining. Many of the gritty new detective series such as The Falls or The Killing I have found become boring, not this one! Only gripe is David Tennant's accent can be hard to understand; you may need subtitles!

Couldn't stop watching submitted by adimarzo on June 24, 2015, 8:04am I had never binge-watched a TV show until I started watching Broadchurch, British mystery at its best. Excellent cast. Gripping storyline. I second the suggestion of watching with subtitles - they helped immensely.

Highly Recommend! submitted by strawberryhead on April 24, 2016, 8:33pm Great series, well written and acted. I had no problem with the accents. It's a gripping show, so I would recommend you check out all the DVDs at once, you will most likely want to watch all of them back to back!
