Good Overview of International Women's Rights Challenges submitted by Carrie Floyd on August 10, 2014, 12:09pm President Carter's quick overview of the many challenges to women's rights internationally provides an easy read, while cataloging the many ways that societies limit women. It does not cover any one area deeply, but does nicely bring them all together under the umbrella of The Carter Center's work.

Must Read for Men submitted by ekjensen on August 30, 2014, 3:48pm Former President Jimmy Carter has written a profound, full-of-data, current book on the abuse of women around the world. Men more than women need to read this book because they are mostly the cause of the bad effects/roadblocks/destruction of women in many, many areas.
