very good submitted by hornv on June 22, 2014, 11:21pm This was a good movie about a young girl living in Germany in the 1940's during World War II. A good movie about History.
The Book Thief submitted by SBNB on August 4, 2014, 10:26pm This is a great movie. It's not quite as good as the book, but film adaptations rarely are. Hans and Rosa were perfect!
Enjoyable submitted by srclark734 on August 8, 2014, 4:12pm It was good to watch, a sad story but sweet also

good movie submitted by xinli on August 29, 2014, 7:25pm This is a very good movie. I loved it.
As usual the book was better submitted by steveiew on June 21, 2015, 9:11pm As is the case most of the time, the book did a much better job telling this story. Death is personified and the narrator of this film, he tells the story of Liesel a little girl that haunts him. Not a feel good movie, but it's worth the watch.
The Book Was Better submitted by SurfGrape on June 27, 2017, 7:03pm The actors were appealing, but in this case, the script writer tried to stay too close to the book, and it didn't quite work.
Great submitted by kelleyc on July 26, 2017, 2:17pm This movie really punches you in the gut with emotions. It's beautifully done. Great characters, great actors.
