New but not /new/ submitted by kernelenchilada on June 19, 2014, 12:53pm This is Paul McCartney's first release of original material in quite some time.

It highlights his songwriting style but never quite achieves the greatness of anything he did before 1976.

Paul's best solo album in many years submitted by doctorfang on July 26, 2015, 10:16pm This album has some of Paul's best writing, as well as the most interesting production, in many years. "New" is a throwback to the Beatles, while "Early Days" is Paul's remembrance of his early days with John Lennon. Paul's voice is getting a bit thin, but his songwriting and gift for melodies remain strong.
