Beautiful heart

This sweet book, is read through the voice of a dog labeled the ugliest dog, and then left by his owner. Spike keeps a sweet perspective through the rough life he has experienced. He is met by an equally sweet boy who takes him under his wing, and a somewhat kind cat that teaches him to be likable. In the end Spike is able to show his true goodness and is followed by a sweet ending.
My family very much enjoyed this book.
