Outstanding submitted by FordAlpha on August 17, 2019, 9:47pm Nathan Hale's Hazardous Tales are an outstanding series of graphic novels relating stories from American history, often introducing the lesser-known characters and events that aren't covered deeply in history class. This one has lots of action and humor, although the human cost of war is given due respect. My kids (ages 6–13) enjoy re-reading this and the other books in the series many times over. Adults will also definitely learn something from reading "Big Bad Ironclad."
