Lorde submitted by hcf on August 31, 2014, 6:41pm While I initially only knew Royals, this entire cd is strong.
Great music submitted by VickyB77 on July 31, 2015, 9:00am There are a bunch of songs you'll recognize that have hit the charts, but even the less familiar ones are really good too.
great music submitted by Jackie77 on August 29, 2015, 5:49pm Great album. I like all the songs except Royals. They played that out on the radio and made me dislike it. My favorite song is Team.
Lorde is young...

But I still like her. Pentatonix did a cover of Royals that got me hooked.

good album submitted by ashflowtuff on July 19, 2017, 10:46am This is an enjoyable pop album. When she made this it seemed that she was an outsider and the songs are original and not too mainstream. Not sure this going to last given her trajectory, but this is a solid album.
Fantastic Indie Electropop submitted by Meginator on August 15, 2017, 6:25pm Lorde has a unique sound and a ton of songwriting talent, and it's no surprise that her first album is so incredibly good. The songs don't get old and they don't quite sound like anything else on the radio did when the album first came out or even does now. I recommend listening to this on a system with good bass and cranking it way up; the juxtaposition of her voice, which leans on the lighter, ethereal side, with pounding low notes is an incredible experience. Lorde really finds the beauty in simplicity here; her music is so good.
so good submitted by durableglass on July 6, 2018, 11:06am currently am listening to this cd on repeat
Listen to the whole thing submitted by keldan315 on August 25, 2018, 11:21pm The whole album is pretty strong and interesting.
Pure Heroine submitted by Varshini on July 4, 2019, 10:29pm Royals is the only song I knew by Lorde (other than Green Light). This CD made me learn more of her songs.
Miss Her submitted by Whitetnchina on July 21, 2020, 4:17pm She blew people away, especially at her age!
