A Wombat's Christmas Diary submitted by Meginator on August 21, 2022, 6:24pm This delightful book takes the form of a diary, as a wombat describes their quest for carrots on what happens to be the night of Christmas Eve. The format, the repetition, and the simple, ironic humor makes this a particularly great choice for reading aloud. Simple and just a little bit sweet, this is a great choice for readers of all ages with a slightly goofy sense of humor.

Unexpectedly delightful submitted by Emily LB on August 1, 2023, 7:55pm I was a bit skeptical when my 4 year old picked out a Christmas book in July, but honestly this book is a delight. The cheeky and oblivious wombat character elicits giggles from the kids and grownups alike. 4/5 stars
