When young soldier Dalton Joiner finds out that his girlfriend Jane back home has dumped him, he vows to sneak out of Vietnam during his one-week leave to win her back. In just seven days they must get to the States, change Jane's mind and make it back to the war without getting caught.

Better than expected submitted by sara on August 15, 2013, 9:37pm I know the movie got poor reviews, but I wanted to see it as I watched part of it being filmed in Ypsi, and enjoyed the bit I had seen. Glad I watched it. It was good, and it was fun to see bits of Ann Arbor and Ypsi in the film.

Ok submitted by crazypockets on August 30, 2013, 9:17pm I checked this out because I know some people who worked on it, and I thought it'd be fun to see the scenes of Ann Arbor. It turned out to be a decent era movie that had a good soundtrack. There wasn't anything particularly unique about the romance, but I liked the idea of the culture clash between a couple of soldiers and a group of hippies, and I think it did a good idea of making you really think about what that time must've been like on a day to day, personal level between people.
