The First 90 Days is an outstanding manual to understanding the steps to take to guarantee both short and long-term success: from learning how to evaluate your own strengths and weaknesses and understanding the probable challenges and opportunities within your state of affairs, to negotiating a constructive working relationship with your boss and building a team.

A must-read for anyone who's getting ready to start a new role, particularly if it's a step up in scope of responsibility.
