60s-Flavored Indie Pop submitted by Meginator on July 6, 2017, 11:51am She & Him take a lot of cues from 1960s pop on this album and it pays off. Zooey Deschanel's voice is perfectly suited to the style and sounds excellent against the stripped-down (yet not quite acoustic) instrumentation. Many of the songs are quite catchy amd the album has a nice light feel to it.
